Welcome to Built Environment Knowledge Dissemination Portal
This portal is a joint initiative between the CSIR and other government
departments and organisations active in the built environment field. Currently
the National Department of Transport and the Gauteng Department of
Transport, Roads and Works are participating. The aim of the
system is to provide the architecture and database for storage and
access of technical information on the Built Environment. The
database contains research articles and papers, technical reports,
general information and newsletters. The search functionality
allows the user to find information based on key word search or alternatively
through selection of type of document, author name, year of publishing,
technical focus area or strategic priority.
The information is freely available, but it is required to register
for administration purposes before you download any documents. Any
member of the public may register as a user.
